Dr. Patel is a radiation oncologist specializing in the treatment of multiple malignancies. He graduated from the combined B.A. / M.D. honors program in medical education at Northwestern University, earning a degree in Economics. Subsequently, he completed his radiation oncology residency at Northwestern University in Chicago and was named chief resident. Dr. Patel is trained in advanced radiation techniques including stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), brachytherapy, and intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). Furthermore, he has published several peer-reviewed articles and presented at multiple national conferences in the area of radiation therapy. Personally, Dr. Patel was raised in New Jersey and has family and friends throughout the mid-Atlantic region. He enjoys traveling, watching and playing sports, and attending all types of music concerts.
