Meet Dr. Zeinab Abou Yehia

Zeinab Abou Yehia, MD


Dr. Abou Yehia is a board-certified radiation oncologist and practices at Tidal Health Richard Henson Cancer Institute in Salisbury, MD. Dr. Abou Yehia is trained in all aspects of radiation oncology and is experienced with the most advanced radiotherapy techniques including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and HDR gynecological brachytherapy. 

Dr. Abou Yehia has participated in clinical trials and authored several peer-reviewed publications. She serves as the Lead NRG PI for Tidal Health. She is also leading a Phase II trial on pre-operative radiation boost in Breast Cancer patients. She continues to serve as an affiliate assistant professor at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. She has received several awards including the Young Oncologist Award from the American Radium Society and the Scholars in Health Research Program High Achievement Award. 

Dr. Abou Yehia is fluent in Arabic. She enjoys hiking, yoga, fitness, and arts when she is not treating patients.
