Meet Dr. Boris Naydich

Boris Naydich, MD

Dr. Boris Naydich was born in the Siberian city of Omsk. He graduated from medical school in Kemerovo, Russia and obtained his Ph.D. from the First Moscow Medical School. He worked at Kemerovo Regional Cancer Center and at the Radiology Department of Altai Medical School. In 1990, he immigrated to the United States and completed his internship training at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey, an affiliate of Mt. Sinai Medical School. He then went on to complete his radiation oncology specialty training at NIH in Bethesda, MD. He then went on to practice at Radiation Oncology Centers of Jacksonville, FL with the Florida Radiation Oncology Group. In 2000, he joined Associates in Radiation Medicine and was named medical director for the Chesapeake-Potomac Regional Cancer Center. He practices general radiation oncology, but has a special interest in prostate cancer, with expertise in external beam radiation therapy with IMRT and brachytherapy. His wife, Yelena, is an acupuncturist and practices in La Plata, MD. His eldest daughter is a diagnostic radiologist practicing in Germantown, Maryland. His youngest daughter has graduated from Haverford College and is considering a career in medicine. Dr. Naydich’s personal interests include literature, history, music, and world travel – having been to over 80 countries.
