Meet Dr. Boris Naydich


Boris Naydich, MD


Dr. Boris Naydich was born in Novokuznetsk, Russia, graduated from medical school in Kemerovo, and obtained Ph.D. from the First Moscow Medical School. He worked as a Radiologist and vice-chair of the Radiology Department at Kemerovo Regional Cancer Center, Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the Radiology Department of Altai Medical School. After immigration to the United States (1990) he completed his internship at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey, an affiliate of Mt. Sinai Medical School, and residency in Radiation Oncology at National Cancer Institute and Uniform Services University of Health Science, Bethesda, MD. From 1996 to 2000 he practiced as Radiation Oncologist at Radiation Oncology Centers in Jacksonville, FL with the Florida Radiation Oncology Group. In May 2000 he joined Associates in Radiation Medicine, Maryland, and was named Medical Director for the Chesapeake-Potomac Regional Cancer Center. He practices general Radiation Oncology (malignancies of the brain, head, and neck, lung, gastrointestinal tract, breast, genital -urinary system, lymphomas, and sarcomas) with a special interest in prostate cancer. The expertise includes IMRT, SRS, SBRT, and Brachytherapy (Seeds implants). His wife, Yelena, is an acupuncturist and practices in La Plata, MD. His personal interests include literature, history, music, mountaineering, and world travel.
